WHY IT MATTERS
Logging quality depends on friction as much as schema.
Writing every event directly into a database sounds cleaner, but repeated connector calls introduce latency, failures and interruption. Separating ingestion from curation improved usability while creating an explicit quality-control layer.
The architecture treats missingness and reconciliation errors as observable system behavior, not invisible housekeeping.
